How is SAP GUI and its graphical user interface?
The local graphical interface allows users, previously established, to have remote access to the central SAP server on a corporate network, which in turn connects to the database.
That means that no system information is stored on the computer, but all data, except for local configuration, is stored on a server controlled by your company, so it is secure and can be managed centrally.
If a different user accesses the same SAP system at the same time and changes the information there, it will be displayed instantly on the local GUI.
SAP automation can be performed with two clients: SAP GUI for Windows and the SAP Business (NWBC) client.
But let's start with some basic SAP GUI data with its new version.

Use of SAP Easy Access
SAP Easy Access is the first screen that appears on the desktop and is provided by the company after logging into SAP with the specified server and user information.
Alternatively, you can use SAP IDES Access to cover personnel or corporate training needs.
It consists of several parts, some of which are always visible regardless of the current action in the system, and others which are sensitive to transactions and only visible during certain actions in the interface.
SAP screen component
At the top of the screen is an input box where you can enter a transaction code to go directly to a specific system program or use shortcuts.
This input box is always displayed, regardless of the transaction being executed.
There are specific transaction links that allow you to switch between transaction tabs or through key menus related to the current action. Always visible, but vary depending on the transaction.
In addition, in the upper right section, the Exit link always allows you to exit the current transaction or screen and stop the operation being performed, without saving the information entered in the input box.

Main area with transaction-specific data.
Immediately after logging into SAP, you will see the SAP Easy Access menu with the list of transactions.
There are information boxes with messages, informational and error text, and system information that you can customize to your needs, such as the current name and status of the server.

This way you can select a transaction to use in SAP using the SAP Easy Access menu or using the transaction input box.
A transaction is a specific business action that can be performed in the system, such as viewing an order or registering an item in the system.
Use of transactions in SAP GUI
When you enter a transaction, the screen changes to display transaction-specific data. This generally consists of all selection screens at the beginning, where you select the information you want to display from the transaction or the type of data you want to enter. And you can save it in your centralized system.
After selecting an input field anywhere in SAP, the F4 key on the keyboard will display a list of available entries in the field if they are available in the system data.

Most fields are restricted to the use of existing system data. For example, in the input field to select the plant in which to manage your business, you can only enter existing plants. This is because it makes no sense to enter data for plants that do not exist in your company.
Using SAP GUI in a nutshell
In general, the SAP GUI interface is intuitive and easy to use, and the behavior of the interface is consistent across all transactions.
Most fields are linked to business data stored in the SAP system; they all have different rules, so the main thing that changes is the fields that are displayed and the rules behind them.
